Who cares if Lesnar fliped off the crowd. They booed him for winning and for being who he was a competitor. He won and he sent it home by telling Mir off. If anything Mir should take that and go for a rematch to take Lesnar out but sadly I thought Mir was outmatched the first time but he got lucky. Bottom line it was an entertaining fight and you got what you paid for.

Lesnar's size doesn't matter as much as the fact that his NCAA wrestling record was something like 107/5. You can complain that he won, but you can't just say "it was steroids". You could use steroids for the next 20 years and not have the talent to move against a professionally trained martial artist. Lesnar won because he was better, made less mistakes, and yes, also because he has fists like lunch boxes filled with concrete.

ReplyDeleteLesner is a physical talent, but beating a 95 year old Randy Couture didn't prove much, and Frank Mir's fight against Nogeria is about the only time he has looked good in his last 4 or 5 fights. Bottom line, the jury is still out whether Lesner can handle the cream of the crop UFC heavyweights. Let's see if he can hang with Shane Corwhatever, or the Brazilian that whooped Cheik Congo a couple weeks ago

There's a reason why a lot of athletes are willing to risk losing their careers by getting caught taking steroids, and I will bet it's not so they can look good with their shirt off. it was a good fight i think. i hand it to mir bc he had the fucking balls to go up against lesnar. im not really a big fan of lesnar but he is a good fighter and he did win the heavyweight title. over all mir and lesnar are both very good fighters.
